Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using the MENTIS website and services ("Services"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of the terms, then you may not access the Service.

1. Description of Service & Important Disclaimers

MENTIS is a career intelligence and decision-support platform that uses assessments and AI to provide guidance. You acknowledge and agree to the following:

  • Guidance, Not Guarantees: The Service provides recommendations, analysis, and data-driven suggestions. It does **not** guarantee job placement, admission to academic programs, or any specific career outcome.
  • Not a Replacement for Professional Advice: MENTIS is designed to augment, not replace, the advice of human career counselors, academic advisors, or mental health professionals.
  • AI-Generated Content: The career reports, roadmaps, and other analyses are generated by AI. While we strive for accuracy and relevance, this information is for informational purposes only and should be critically reviewed by you. We are not liable for any inaccuracies or omissions in AI-generated content.
  • For Educational & Exploratory Purposes: The assessments used are for career exploration and personal development insights only. They are not clinical diagnostic tools.

2. User Accounts

When you create an account with us, you must provide information that is accurate, complete, and current at all times. You are responsible for safeguarding the password that you use to access the Service and for any activities or actions under your password.

3. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content (excluding data provided by users), features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of MENTISERA (SMC-Private) Limited and its licensors. Our trademarks may not be used in connection with any product or service without our prior written consent.

4. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to use the Service:

  • In any way that violates any applicable national or international law or regulation.
  • To attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or otherwise discover the source code of our AI models or platform.
  • To use any automated system, including "bots" or "spiders," to access the Service for any purpose without our express written permission.

5. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms.

6. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall MENTIS, nor its directors, employees, partners, or agents, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, or other intangible losses, resulting from your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Service.

7. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of Pakistan, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

8. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. We will provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect. By continuing to access or use our Service after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms.
